    ebuyer delivery

i have never ordered off ebuyer before but today i saw an item that noone else has and their delivery price is only 1.99
last time i went to check the price and delivery of something the delivery would start at £5
is it me or have they actually gotten cheaper?

It depends on the weight of the item I think, for small stuff they just use Royal Mail and charge less as a result. Try putting something like a PSU in your basket and I bet the price will go up.

Its done on weight which works well up until they input the weights completly wrongly and charge you a fortune. EG an item that weighs 0.15kg and costs £3 is being put at 4.54kg by their system!!! And therefore costs a fortune to buy.

It has got better. Their previous postage costs were simply making them uncompetitive. But like Gordy said, it's not perfect.

    oh right,
i can currently have 3 of these shipped for 1.99
    http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=49451
if i have 4 the price goes to 4.15 so its cheaper for me to order 2 sets of 2 than 1 order of 4

Last time I ordered from them I dropped the postage costs £3 by swapping different brand products about to meet a weight limit. Then the goods were delivered from 2 warehouses in 3 separate courier shipments, which might explain why they need to charge a bit for delivery.
