Shadows - I suggest you learn about the way rise and fall of land changes the direction of shadows.

I've seen this vid plus a number of other pics of this airport before. One is from the hotel in the background and yes it is real -It's

Maho beach, Philipsburg, St Martin, Netherlands Antilles, The Caribbean.

Loads more pics here for those that want 'em.
Oops! I was just being picky last night, cos I had an exam today! lol
It was the thread title that did it..."Does this look normal?" so I automatically assumed it was a photoshop mockup. As for seeing planes land, I used to watch the tornadoes landing at RAF Lakenheath in suffolk, they used to come about 15-20m over the viewing area. Just never seen a 747 land like that b4.

And Yes, sucking nipples is great fun!

EDIT shouldv mentioned, my bird works at Mt Pleasant Airport in the Falkland Islands, shes flying back here today! yay

Why would anyone go to that beach (except plane spotters that want some SSS while hobbying) - the amount of noise, fumes and tarmac!

The bit before the runway is a No go area. The people are photoshopped in to the picture.

There was proof on another forum, I'll go find the link.

    [EDIT]: Here it is...

    go here:

    http://www.airliners.net/search/index.main

and put St Maarten into the keyword search.
    Lots of pictures
