Well, Big Brother 1 was brilliant, everyone since then has been worse and worse, until now where they are pretty poor. I wont be watching.

However, lets not all post to just say how crap the prog is... let those who do want to talk about this drivel for the easily pleased and those blessed with no class, taste or judgement, do so.

So, just like the WOrld Cup football threads, if you don't like it, stay out. And if those annoying anti-BB sigs start apearing, please don't forget the sig size rules of 500x100x30kb, as if we are faced with having to resize a load of them, they will probably just get deleted.

Now, you may commence with the discussion of this non-event...

Well, it is a total non-event of course as Vaul says its TV after all, I have watched a couple, last year was pretty good because they were pretty evil to some irritating people. I have watched some of BB6 and I must say, they have picked some attracive house mates at last!

There is of course one gay crossdressing belly dancing looney toon, each to thier own you know but I have a feeling that one will grate on me.

Well makosi went on the "annoy everyone" offensive (she was told to), but she did pick some weird things to start arguements about. I would have waited until monday being quiet, then let everyone have it

Makosi is obviously a bit on the thick side... anyone with common sense would just ignore the missions take the vote with the public and see what happens. even if she
doesnt get voted out they will hate her and she will be out soon after. Then again
anyone with common sense wouldnt be on the programme in the first place.

Why does anyone bother watching this crap anymore?

It's after 3am, they were just about to pull that bird aboves tits out or something, and the camera switches to the garden. 10secs later it's back in the bedroom... something else is about to happen.... back to the empty garden.

Not to mention when they do start to talk about something of any interest, they mute the sound.

So why do people even bother anymore? It's nothing like the original series was.

No doubt all the bits they keep switching away from (ie, the nudity) will appear on the DVD. I can only imagine the glimpse people saw last night was a ploy to keep people watching

It has to be said, the sound muting is possibly THE worst part of BB. It drives me round the bend.

Oakey is completely right, anything remotely interesting is censored.

While the muting is annoying, I think it's just Channel 4 covering their backs, isn't it? While it's obvious that the opinions of the people in the house are not of Channel 4, anything that might be regarded as remotely racially or politically offensive is snipped. I suppose I can respect that - I can always get opinions from people in real life. Not at this time in the morning, of course... though the chap at the 24 hour garage is friendly enough.

Will prolly end up watching this series at work unfortunatly, saw some of it last night and there's nothing really interesting going on imo. The First two are still by far and away the best

The muting makes me want to punch somebody quite honestly. A nice disclaimer at the bottom of the screen saying "the views and opinions of the housemates are not channel 4's opinions of any of their affiliates". Problem solved.
