    Always check your orange bill

...i got a bill through the door today stating I owed orange £350...!!!
    like f***.
so I called them up, on hold most of the time, and was told that my free upgrade had been included into my bill...so it wasn't free then...
but clearly some muppet had cocked up so they say they're sorting it out their end...one hopes. i was given the option to pay it all at the next monthly bill date or dispute the amount. i think its safe to assume I'm not freakin' paying one penny of that!
complete hassle really, had to call my bank and get them to cancel the direct debit on the next billing date - to which orange will probably get arsey over claiming i was in error - despite the guy on the end of the phone saying it was their mistake and thats what I should do.

orange, bunch of money grabbing swindlers...grrrrr...

    Check you bills people!!

well if its classes as breach of contract then I suspect I can pull the plug on them and then go pay as you go...far less hassle and they're less likely to rip you off...well, they ALL rip you off but this way they're not able to make stupid charges to your account.

to be honest, its probably a simple mistake which they will rectify. orange are generally pretty good at clearing up when they c*ck up, and if you're a heavy mobile user then payg isnt really an option..

I find the Orange customer services better than the other networks I have been on. All depends on the person you get really.

And my mates wonder why I won't shift from Vodaphone to Orange, even orange at the time said they couldn't beat the deal voda were giving me to stay wiith em. Over rated company is Orange in my opinion and I an't changing to a company just because you can get free tickets like many are for the cinema's

O2 PAYG even gives you free minutes if you top up by enough now...
I wouldnt get a contract anymore. I get 300 free texts if I top up by £10/month, and 10% of topups back at the end of the quarter...
PAYG is the way to go
