    MSN Hacked

For anyone who might get a message from me on MSN, please don't respond, it's not me. My account has been hacked. Someone I know from another forum had his MSN account hacked too as "I" apparantly said I knew his dad and asked him for his dads middle name, which was his secret question...

    Be careful.

I'll be honest... I have done a joke on a few friends before, and god damn it's simple to reset their password, you just start a conversation with them asking them what their favourite pets name would be... BANG. Thats it, that's why my secret question/answer is a ton of nonesense, if I lose my password, then tough crap for me.

Anyway, sorry to hear that I see how it can be annoying.

Use sentences - e.g. "ihadagreatdayatwhereveryouwhere". like to see a brute force hacker get that. Just remember not to mention it to anyone if they ask.

I use acroymns of words and change certain letters to numerical ones that "look" similar and also add a few random check digits. None of the passwords I have is less than 8-10 digits in length.

    SAD or what

    Cunning!

I remember a lot of passwords. I have an 'insecure' password that I use in places where it might be more likely to be compromised, meaning my accounts etc with more 'secure' passwords would be unaffected from a breach of security.

    I hate answering secret questions.

Then you can start stringing them together creating stupidly long passwords.
