rofl at that spice girls thing, and please god don't :/ - i was quite new to these forums and i did use the for sale/thing, im not spamming to get posts, but im posting where i wouldnt normally to get 50 posts, i think the rule is not a bad one BUT i think it would be better if they said you cant use the for sale forums until you have been registerred one month or something, then no spam from that ( hopefully ) people just have to wait

i would consider most of the posts in here spam, they arnt one line posts (exept for my own) but ive just read them all and ur all just repeating the same bloody thing!!!

spam is not imo a huge problem here, but some consider me a spammer so maybe thats why my opinion is that

id guess most ppl have left because of the hacking, i know a few that think these forums are bad in the way they are ran etc.. and the 50 post rule for f/s forum made them think it more (i dont agree, was a good idea imo). spam was caused by them leaving, less ppl were posting, so more spam to keep forums active.
dont forget spam is NATURAL and u will never get rid of all of it.

Big post count = big willy!

I don't normally notice spam, but at the moment there is just too much of it and it is making the forums boring to read.

Also, the for sale thing, maybe as suggested above a time limit, rather than a number of posts limit may reduce those spamming to reach the big five-oh as there would be absolutely no need to post pointless dribble.

I dont think it is just spam that makes the forums boring to read, i personally am getting bored with the way threads on here die so quickly now, how many times i have started a thread or answered someones question or tried to carry a thread on to find no one is reading it or can be bothered to put down a reply..

This is still my favourite forum, but it's not as interesting or fun as it used to be, i suppose some of it is me finding it easy to get bored.

I dont see the problem with spamming a little, adds to the atmosphere, without spam it's like going to the pub, cracking really good jokes all night and only having a couple of people replying with jokes of there own and the rest sit there stone faced (as they cant reply with a laugh, or a smile) just seems fake to me.

On this forum now there seems to be a lot of new threads started (Which is good) but not many replys to existing threads (which i feel is Bad)

    Just my honest opinion.
