I don't think you and Stoo being in the same room actually has any effect on the total size of the world though.

In fact, I'd go as far to say, that the distance between you and Stoo, at any time, be it very small or very large, has no effect at all on the Earths total equatorial diameter of 7,926 miles, or indeed its polar diameter of 7,900 miles.

Perhaps its just an optical illusion, or something? I mean, how would that even work? It makes no sense.
