    Question Photography Request

this is a bit of an odd thing to ask

however, for a coursework i am doing i need various pictures of Urban Pigeons

well great! urban pigeons, get a camera and go and take some pictures i hear you cry. I would, one problem is i dont live anywhere near a large city! the best i could get are boring garden pigeons (boring because they are generally clean and dont look like they are about to die)

so, to the point, my request is for ANYONE with a camera living in london (or a major city which has urban pigeons) who has the time, please go out and take a few pictures of urban pigeons.

i dont really mind about the quality of the photo, of course better quality is more useful....they could be on a phone camera as you are walking home from work or something, i dont mind

it also doesnt matter what background is in the picture (location isnt important) as long as they are in a city and look fairly 'urban', if you know what i mean

im asking on here because i know there are a fair amount of people on here with a passion for photography who might want an excuse to take some pictures

if no one can be bothered or cant help me then i can make do with garden pigeons, i guess....having some urban pigeons would be MUCH better though

if you want to help me PM me and ill give you my email address for you to send the pictures too (im looking for 5+ pictures)

thanks alot for reading, this would be very helpful
    Pete

shiato, its a [GCSE] art coursework we were given, tis a pretty poor title 'Animals in Art'

so i decided make it a bit more exciting, instead of what everyone else was doing (Cows, Sheep, Horses etc), take a look at some 'winged vermin' urban pigeons

i need the photos as back up for drawings, pictures etc (which i have already done)

menthel, anytime over the course of the next 2 months would be great...it gets handed in around xmas

also, a picture of a gathering of pigeons similar to say trafalgar square would be optimum, it would also be helpful to have a close up or two though

    thanks for the replies guys

I like this one. Don't know why, and it's not 100% what you're after.... but it's a pigeon. And it is actually in Trafalgar Square.

Bests place to get shots is a railway station, the combination of w******s spitting chewing gum out and pigeons results in deformed footed flying vermin.

The skanky claws syndrome is a diesease that spreads when Pigeons live together in a confined space - e.g. those ones in Covent Garden. It spreads through them wading in each others muck rather than chewing gum () as far as I know...

Here's one I took at the train station with my phone- amazingly bad quality but a pigeon anyhow.

not forgetting that the pigeon is the one of the few birds that can suck.
