    End of Enterprise (end of Star Trek)

    Watched the end of Enterprise yesterday. It was great to see the birth of the Federation, and interesting to see some backgrounf to "Pegasus", the inside references e.g. "All Good Things..." were interesting. However, was I the only one who expected a bigger climax to this cracking series?

    Surely this can't be the end of Trek?

    BTW... T'Pol looked hotter than ever in this ep

    To be honest, i thought that after the good first series it went really down hill. The scripts were very uninspiring and i really don't think the characters were strong enough. But thats just me. Nothing will ever live up to the next generation. Were some good momemts though to be fair. But pretty forgetable on the whole.

    EDIT : OMG, just realised i have got into a Star Trek debate! nooooooooo........

    To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

    heh.

    At the moment I have lost interest in ST "franchise" and have been more engrossed in a few new series at the moment. They are of course the following ;

    Stargate SG-1
    Stargate Atlantis
    The 4400
    revelations

    There was something about "enterprise" that just didn't make it work for me. I dunno what it was.

    Maybe I expected Dean Stockwell to appear with a retro 70's neon style PDA that made a few silly "wezzurgh" noises and then say phrases such as "Ziggy gives this a 55% chance of probability" and whatnot

    Agreed. I've never been a massive ST fan. I do like TNG, and will watch it if it's on. Enterprise was the first one I really got in to, but the 2nd series just killed it for me really.

    The only time I watched it was when Dean Stockwell made a guest appearance... Kept waiting for him to leave the imaging chamber though...

    I preffered Quantum Leap

    Me too - Quantum leap was great for its time. Dean Stockwell's also been in SG-1 and we cracked all the "ziggy" and walking through wall jokes and I am sure 1 of the episodes has a sly dig at quantum leap as jack O'Neill comes out with a corking 1 liner.
