    anyone here drink Aldi pop?

My mom buys the bulk of our shopping at aldi - not because we are skanks, but because you get more for your money and its still just food, it goes in the same way and comes out the same way... whatever.
im not here to justify where i shop.

but i have been drinking the aldi pop - Ameristar diet cola for years, and its always tasted the same, and it was a good thirst quenching taste, but in the past 2 weeks the recipe has changed and the taste has changed dramatically.. and it doesnt quench so much anymore...

has anyone else noticed this? or just me? or maybe no1 here shops at aldi?

    meh?

Some people I know keep buying that stuff. I only drink the lemonade which I think is ok. The pure fruit juices are nice though.

Aldi is a place where i shop, they have a good range of fresh fruit and veg there, i dunno about their pop, i only buy pure orange and Robinsons sugar free also with them being German they have a nice range of cheese and meat that they don't have in other places

Aldi don't just stock cheapy stuff anymore....go take a walk around you'll be surprised, it's also a good place to get cheap booze, they somethimes have crates of Stella in 330 ml bottles for £8.99

I shop all over the place, i go to somerfield and Iceland, the Deli shop, butchers shop

There's a really nice fresh fish shop near where I'm living from sept, opens at stupid o'clock in the mornin too.

But there's an Aldi down here, but its in the middle of chav town so I avoid it like the plague. It also has more wood then glass in its windows.

Better off avoiding your local Aldi then...

You can't beat proper shops like a butcher, fish monger, deli, the assistants are much nicer too And they always give me nice bones for Max

    Thought his name was John?

Morrisons is good up north though, much nicer red wine selection.

Haha, i like the way you put "i'm not here to justify where I shop" after a paragraph of text explaining why you shop there.

If you like red, I'd advise you try a bottle of "Mouton Cadet". I normally get mine from france as its around £10 a bottle last time I got some, but its the best wine I've ever had and am getting a couple of boxes bank hol monday when I goto france.

It has a picture of a ram (sheep type) on it. Nice and easy to find normally.

Morrisons wine section kinda reminds me of Auchun :'( nice wooden box like shelves.

maybe it's just a bad batch - you should contact aldi / manufacturer and let them know they might send you some vouchers

we sometimes go to Netto for some cheap booze
whereas my parents sometimes go to LIDL (they actually have a tidy shop whereas whenever I go to aldi / netto, they never do).
