i'd bank £500k to get the interest to give me a good monthly income.

i'd spend £100-£150k on 2 houses(one for me and one for my mum)
    25k on a car.
50k to get a nice HC setup. couple of nice PC's and a laptop
buy a season ticket to liverpool.
do a big round the world trip and watch every F1 race in a season.
go on holiday a few times a year.

    that would do me tbh

After paying off various debts I'd get a Decent Sized 5 Bedroom House with a Fully kitted out studio and rehersal room, Original shape Hummer Chromed up to Arnold Schwarzenegger levels with a tuned 7 litre chevy V8 under the hood, Fully Kitted out Lamborghini LM with big drug dealer wheels and soem bits and pieces for the band.

House here in Aberdeen and a west end terraced flat in Glasgow (3 bedroom or more preferably). Also pay off the credit card bills for a few family members and a couple of friends. The rest i think i'd save/invest.

now if it was the EuroMillions jackpoct that a woman in ireland won a couple of weeks ago that would be a whole different ball game

I'd spend half of it on wine, women and song, and squander the rest...

I'd probably scream like a looney, stare at it all for ages and giggle, then just put it in the bank and forget about it...

Alternatively, take it, along with several friends, to Central Africa, where it would do for several generations to live like Kings, and still be really nice and generous to all the Servants!

I'd start the institute of evil.

An elite force of people commited to wronging all rights, and stealing candy from babies (only on holidays that thou).

As such we'd go into politics pretending to be socailists, then increase tax emensily. damn new labour did it.
Erm we'd make it so your National Insurance contributions don't actually goto your pension or health care. damn, labour did it.
We'd close all specail schools and put the kids into mainstream educaiton. nuts, simpsons, i mean new labour did it.
I'd ban advertising smoking on all sports that didn't pay me money. nuts, labour did it.
I'd allow an ozi criminal to take total control of the media, in return for him keeping me in power with good press, only to have him try to betray me, but thats okay because i've got channel 5 to sell. damn, labour did it.

basically i'd go into pollitics, but £1m isn't enough, so i'd become a company that sells interactive whiteboards to schools, once i had the £100 million needed to get a strangle hold on this country (which with interactive whiteboards for schools wouldn't take long) i'd demand that the welsh be refered to as the wells, and that anyone who dosen't know at least 2 types of machine code, be forced to wear big pointy dunce hats all day.

oh and i'd make the residents of lambath fight thouse in hackney. In an arena full of jelly. I wounder why no one's given me a million pounds yet.

Buy a house - something nice with some land that I would want to stay in for years.

Buy a decent car - not too expensive just nice.

Take my girlfriend on a really nice holiday and tell her she can quit her job and that if she behaves I'll get her a horse and stable to put on our land

Pay off my student loan + other little bits of debt.

Buy some nice stuff for my parents + sister.

Kit out my new house with nice things eg. big projecter screen.

Make a few donations to places (eg Hexus) and people I like.

Bank the rest of it and live off the interest.
