Build a house etc for about 500k, pay off the existing mortgage and loans, buy a classic Mustang to rebuild, plus a Westfield, something like an Audi A6 quattro, and start a business.

    Done.

    http://www.privateislandsonline.com/islachica.htm#

If I get a job, can add to my £4000 spare and build a castle (even a skscraper) on it. LanParty island or something

Trust fund for the kids because when they are ready to earn money most jobs will have been outsourced abroad. Want your tax return done - cheaper from abroad, want your x-ray reviewed - cheaper from abroad...... Technology has made the world a very small place and most people havent even realised it yet.

And so Eyeland uses it's spamming powers to make the mods cringe and drown (and also never rot otherwise that recks the swimming water).

...umm, I'd pay off my own and parent's mortages. I'd give a 'few' quid to my younger brothers to help 'em onto the stupidly over-priced housing ladder. Then, I'd sell our house and buy something 'nice', but not extravagent, in the countryside. I'd keep half a mil or so in the bank and enjoy the interest, working a lot less then I do now!

just had a thought about stashing it in a bank. Is anyone remembering that the interest is still income so would be taxed according to your tax code. Do they still do high value ISAs or is it just the £3000max ones now?
