Hmm not bad so far, though its minamalist approach is maybe just a bit too minamalist...
Still, better than the bloated MSN Messenger I guess. Kind of reminds me of MSN 1.0 in many ways.

gtalk is very nice, i love the clean simple interface, its still missing quite a few things, i think it should have the option for timestamping messages and for some reason it wont minimize to my system tray completely. i will explore it more after work.

Just click the cross on the main interface, and it minimizes to the system tray.

imo its nice to have something simple with the functionality you need. who needs handwriting or themes? msn is just bloatwear (i've been on windows messenger for years..)
