    Katrina on Google Local!

    Take a look at this guys and gals.

    If you look at the satellite picture of New Orleans there is a red Katrina button on the top right of picture. If you switch between the tow you can see before and after.

    The best way to see the effects is to follow the main roads.

    Also this is quite interesting. Look at how the marina has been effected and the boats thrown to the bottom and bottom right of the picture. Then scroll down and look at the marina below.

    Actually I think thats more down to the angle of the sun and the shadow.

    the town planning just looks so unoriginal tho, all straight roads (most at right angles), looks like something from sim city to be honest

    to be fair tho town planners could have thought, oh well building on the coast below sea level probably isnt the best idea, especially as it isnt too far from the main freaky weather zone.

    indeed the french quater is also more architectually erm, nice. Funny how buildings of stone, that aren't built on quite such bad subsidence don't fall down so easily.

    I cant get the satellite images to work The map one is fine.
