You'll know when things are really bad when you're travelling abroad on holiday and you hear... "Err this is your captain speaking, there have been some technical difficulties with the avionics..." at this point you hear the co-pilot screaming "How can we have a BSOD!! I thought we didn't use Windows!!"
Now thats scary, it seems more things than I thought use a Windows OS, its actually quite worrying to be honest, what next, life support machines?? Or how about Stephen Hawkin's chair thingy?? Now that would be most interesting indeed...

When going to New York our plane was delayed for the following reason:
Captain comes into waiting lounge and says "there's about an hour delay due to technical difficulties"
Technical difficulties?!?! What the hell does that mean?!
When leaving NYC we were delayed yet again, this time once we'd already boarded and began taxiing. Plane stops and the captain informs us we'll be delayed as they've 'accidentally' packed baggage that shouldn't be on this flight.
