Who here wears correctional lenses (e.g. glasses, contacts e.t.c.). Whether it's just some of the time or all.

no, and i'm really surprised about it. Both mum and dad wear (or should wear in dads case) glasses, yet dispite spending inordinate amounts of time in front of computer screens for the past 15 years my eye sight is still fine (i get a full medical including eye test every couple of year due to working offshore).

Although i am very very slightly colour blind towards red/green. However the more i do that test the easier it is

I didn't need lenses until i was 19, at 18 I started Art college, was starting the morning off fine, but about 5-6 months into the course I noticed I wasn't able to read the destination/number of buses approaching my stop until they had actually stopped at it.

Working with PCs for the last xx years, my eyesight hasn't actually deteriorated too badly, and over the last two years (since starting back on daily disposable contacts) hasn't changed at all (yay contacts!). So my conclusion, artwork - very bad for the eyes, gaming - not bad for the eyes..... maybe a bit simplistic, but it justifies my hobby for me

I have glasses, but my prescription is negligable, so i dont tend to wear them unless i've had a really long day and need to concentrate eventhough my eyes hurt. So technically, yeah, but no i dont wear them

No I don't, although haven't had a check up in awhile. My Eye sight in my eyes, (no pun intended!) is great!.. Much better in fact than most people I have come into contact with. <- Obviously thats all down to personal opinion...

I wear glasses most of the time, but I always wear contacts when I go out drinking (I would probably destroy my glasses horsing around when I'm pissed).

I'm really quite short-sighted, so glasses 90% of the time, disposable contact lenses 5% of the time for me. I think I've worn them since I was about 9ish.

Has anyone else noticed how glasses are always really comfortable when you're first getting them fitted properly? Then as soon as you get home, they become a right nuisance, so you end up having to adjust them into some ridiculous shape. Often resulting in skew-whiff, but oh-so-comfy, gligs.

I had to stop wearing glasses to gigs due to either losing them or having them break mid-gig thanks to crowdsurfers/stagedivers. Contacts are fine for gigs, but I hate driving with contacts so I usually end up taking my glasses for the journey.
