Unfortunatly 220 is out of my price range and i cant stretch that little extra, it does look like an excellent camera though

As an A70 user, i have never experianced any softness, with the A80 comming out now, the A70 will probably drop a bit more. If not how about an A60 , here are some examples of what the A70 can do:

    Nice picture quality EH

Personally I would suggest the Sony DSC-P52. I like the fact that its got 3xdigital zoon, can use interchangable memory sticks and is damn cute for that fact. As well as that its a Sony... I'm addicted to their product line I swear
Signature in development ... please be patient

I can personally recomment the Fuji 2800 Zoom + the Fuji S304, both great cameras with good zoom too

yeah m8 Scupa's right, I bought the Sony off of Amazon a week ago and have had no probs even survived a trip to Dublin and back, zoom functions good n'all as I had to use a picture of a map to navigate after we lost the original, crystal clear........

If you go to the excellent http://www.dpreview.com then there's a "Buying Guide" facility; if you select <US$400 you should be able to find something suitable, along with some excellent in-depth reviews.

Right guys I have managed to cut it down to 5 cameras all of witch are in my price range, so witch one would you choose? Im torn between the Sony DSC-P52 and the PowerShot A60 myself

    Fuji Finepix A203

    Sony DSC-P32

    Sony DSC-P52

    Cannon PowerShot A300

    Cannon PowerShot A60

A60 Looks to me like a better all round bet than the DSC-P52, only you can make the final decision.
