    Just been assaulted.....

    by my girlfriend....

Shes hit me in the eye, nose, and bit me on my side. Got a mark on my side, shes almost broke the skin.

People who cannot handle their alcohol piss me off. Luckily i kept my cool and shes walked off just crying about how much shes ****ed up. No 2nd chance, ever.

    Violent bitch.

This is one of those innocent looking girls, who worships you for 13+ months, then usddenly decides she'd like a "piece of you" Mortified is not the word.

So after 13+ months you decide to leave her over something drink related?

How did it come to her hitting you?

Might want to give it some thought in the morning.

At least you didnt loose it man, at 13 months though youd think you might be more interested in why she did it.

We exchanged a few expletives etc as im sure every man and his girlfriend/fiance/wife has done in the past, then next thing she hit me and my mates pinned me down for no reason. Maybe they expected me to have a go back, but i was more in shock to be honest. To give you a rough idea, im 6ft 2 and shes about 5ft 6. Shes never shown violence in the past so i was too shocked to do anything about it.

Ended up ringing the police because she was hounding my house, so either the cops told her where to go, or I threw her there.

Don't get me wrong, I have NEVER hit a woman and never intend to, but some women really know how to make someone flare up.

Would be my advice too, unless you actually want to throw 13 months down the drain? If its drink related, i'd give a second chance - did she get extra drunk?

Nasty! you poor thing a hard desicion to make whether you want to stay with her or not, on the one hand staying with her may in some way let her think it's acceptable to assault you, but on the other hand she's obviously got issues she needs to work at, normally i'd say leave, no -one deserves to be someones punchbag but the fact that this is her first outburst makes me think it may be worth helping her work through whatever it is bugging her, but then again if you were assualting her then you'd be thrown out and condemned by everyone not giving a damn about whatever issues you had

Hope you work out what's best for you And i really hope she can work out her issues for her own sake and any other future relationships she has

tbh, i would be well shot of her. as shelly pointed out, if this was the other way round, and some girl had just come on here saying her boyfriend of a year had thumped her, people would be asking for an address for retribution. imo girls these days are just as capable of defending themselves, partly due to the social stance that suggests hitting girls is wrong - now i dont dissagree with that, but why doesnt it say that visa versa is wrong too?

physical violence (imo) suggests that all other forms of communication in the relationship have broken down (unless one party asks for it, fnarrr), and that to me would suggest the end is nigh. from your other posts it seems that she wasnt even regretful of it, so personally, i'd give her the boot.

good luck with whatever you choose to do. on the 'every cloud has a silver lining' angle, the story might work as a great pickup line to get girls who just wanna take care of you

Reminds me of my ex-wife. I have a long list of things she broke over various parts of my body, plus the scars on my thigh where she stabbed me with some scissors. Violent women, like violent men never change, no mattter how the plead & promise. Only ever a matter of time.

    Best off out mate.

She did say she was really drunk, and when she got home I couldnt get any sense out of her. For eg.

She hinted that she wasnt feeling normal/was under the influence of something else too,, but maybe it's just her excuse to attempt to justify her actions towards me.

It does depend on how you feel about the rest of the relationship, but even blaming the beer monster isn't really good enough to me. We all do things we regret when we're drunk, but that's because we lose inhibition and do the things we were thinking of anyway. It's not like getting drunk gives you extra ideas, it just makes you more likely act on them.

Unless there's some special reason why she had this outburst, that you knew about beforehand, and you're 100% sure that's all it is, you're best off out, 13 months or 13 years.

Why is considered bad to defend yourself against attack , no matter what the sex of the attacker ?

this is why battered husbands have such a problem , becuase of a percieved social stigma of hitting a woman.

hmmm...troubling this is. one the onehand it could be a one-off situation - as she says - but then if she gets like this every time she drinks, and I think i speak for anyone in this situation, you're better off without. Although its odd her excuse to you, call me a suspicious guy but could it be she's covering something far deeper up? drunken lunatic/abusive -whatever, from judging the situation, I'd have to say you're better off without
