    A Dilema of Much Dilemerishness!

    Right,

I feel like chicken tonight, like chicken tonight!

But, holy front bottoms Batman, there be no chickens in my fridge, fool!

So, the dilema is thus... should I go out into the local park in a futile attempt at finding one, or shall I settle for the carcass of a lesser animal, such as crab or toast?

    Guide me with HEXUS wisdom!

    Hmmm...

I decided to have some hot, buttered crumpets, so I got 2 in the toaster, when they were done, buttered them, took a bite, then went to get a glass of pop. Then... I lost them.

Can't find them anyway, only been in the living room and the kitchen as well. I mean, its not like I'd put them behind the clock or in a draw, they must just be on the side somewhere, but I can't see them.

Put another one in, and walked upstairs with that one and my glass of pop, still wondering where the arse they are.

You don't feel like a muppet at any other time quite like you do when you prepare food, and then lose it before you can eat it.

    The shame.

But did you make yourself more Crumpets to compensate for the Crumpets you lost?

I did, but only a single crumpet, and my mind was still with the two lost crumpets, the loss of which tainted my enjoyment of the replacement crumpet.

Still haven't found them... I really can't see how I can misplace two crumpets, without leaving the room. I only took my eyes off them for a minute to get a drink, and they appear to have made a daring bid for freedom.

It seems I have been out thought, by the combined intellect of two crumpets.

Had a quick look this morining when my mom got up for work.

    "What you looking for Stew?"

"I lost two crumpets earlier, just having a quick look for them"

She had to get ready, but I'm sure it will be mentioned later.

lol thats crazy, how on earth can you loose two crumpets....oh well, maybe you should have tried to catch a chicken in the park - could have been in interesting adventure (though what kind of park has chickens running around it i don't know )

I do yes, a large Doberman, but even he can't gobble down two hot, buttered crumpets, from a plate on the side, and leave no trace of them, in 15 seconds... and, thinking back, he was in the living room on the sofa, thats when I lost them.

Made a drink, called him out the living room, turned the light off, closed the door, went to walk upstairs... crumpets had it away on their toes.

Felt a right nob. Would have stayed and had a good look but my feet were cold.

next time do the same thing, make 2 crumpets as before, but place video cameras around to track your every move...that might give a clue to the where-abouts of the escapees.
you didn't do something like answer the phone on departing the kitchen did you?
