If I was you I'd call it a day with the piercings now. Move to tats, they can't be used against you, and look twice as cool....
alternitively you could just live in a nice area of the country and not get in fights...

Irrelevant of the area you live in, you go looking for it, you'll get it. Avoid it, and you'll have nothing to worry about.
Still, tremedously disadvantagous in a situation like that. Ohhh, the pain. Still, kevlar arm protectors would look the danglies.
Two thoughts having read this thread...
knox, if it floats your boat, why not, eh? Not my cup of tea at all, but not as 'extreme' as some I've seen (such as a guy with bars all the way down his back, BETWEEN his vertebrae!).
And on the self harm issue, Theos thread was written in a thoughtful and considered manner,which was fine. The problem with it was that some muppet might well have taken inspiration from it but botched the job and ended up badly scarred/infected/blood poisoned etc etc. Hence its removal. Knox's piercings are different as they are done under controlled, sterile conditions.
I'm not suggesting that Theo wasn't very careful in what he did, I'm sure he was extremely hygienic, the problem is that someone trying to emulate Theo might well not be so careful and end up doing themselves some real damage.
Its a bit like building your own PC.. if you ain't got a clue what you're doing, you'll sod it up. So leave it to the pros to do it for you.
btw. I have piercings and a couple of large(ish) tattoos so I'm pretty open minded on this one.
I got my tattoos cos I just fancied having one... then one turned to another etc etc. Of course, I'd love another, but I'm risking becoming the painted man and falling into a life of travelling with freak shows....

Hmm..as old fashion as it sounds, I like things natural. I find women who don't wear make up, or little more attractive than those that do. Don't really see the point of piercings, but hey, thats me. Just trying to understand why those make you happy.

Couldn't agree with you more. Just can't get my head round why people who stick bars and needles though their skin get any sort of buzz or why they think they look somehow cool. Got to admit that when I see anyone with weird piecings the only phrase that comes to mind is 'get a life'.
Give me my women without piercing of any sort and with no lumps and bumps that aren't their own.

knox has had the bars cut down today and without the blood things look different. As drunken poncho said the pic doesnt really do the piercings justice.
