So its coming round to bonfire night again, so fireworks are generally available. While I enjoy a good firework display, I detest those people who misuse them to cause others fright or injury. The other day I was in my car, a banger went off on the other side of the road. The next time I was waiting at some traffic lights, only to watch as a screamer rocket went straight underneath my car and exploded on the other side. This was a main crossing, someone could have easily got hurt.

Be sensible people please.

Agreed, the fireworks around here began just over a week, and now will go on till 2 weeks into January, everyone finds something to celebrate with fireworks in this period.

Yeah, it's a great time of year, but also a horrible one for some.

I pretty much know the areas in Scarborough where people will cause trouble with them, but they do tend to hang around other areas where you don't expect. That's chavs for ya.

I've had a few near misses with fireworks myself and the dangers are all far too clear. It's ridiculous how youths mess about with them when you think how much explosive force some fireworks contain.

Tbh, i'm in favour of selling more french banger style fireworks. Someone needs to design something that kills only the person pissing about with it, not inocent bystanders. It would be the dawn of a utopia.

What i really hate about these people is they're going to ruin the fun for all of us, i really like fireworks, and use them safely. But its not just chav's u get people using them in terrice gardens, like the one i lived in last year, were the garden is smaller than the safety zone, considerably.
