Got a new keyboard

Got a Microsoft Digital Media Pro off ebay, it's new but the box had been opened because it was an unwanted gift, got it for a tenner. It's great. I'm used to my Microsoft Natural Keyboard (the split ergnomic one), but I want to get used to standard keyboards anyway, I really like it .

Search google for pics, can't be arsed to take any at the mo.

My mate has that keyboard, the leather pad is SO nice (thats if its teh same one? Looks it)

Media keyboards are quite useful if you are obsessed with music. For example, listening to a playlist on itunes, and playing Guild Wars. Don't like the song? Press next track, or if i have a phone call, press mute, or if I need to listen to something clearly on the game, press pause or stop

I would like a wireless keyboard, but can't be asked at the moment though. I would love a DiNovo.

It's not the leather keyboard your talking about, but yeah it is useful, fits my needs nicely. Do you know if there is a plugin/hack for the play buttons though? (so they work with Winamp?.. currently they only work with Windows Media Player )

I selected the profile for Microsoft Multimedia Keyboard and it works fine.

Happy with mine too.

Unfortunately the play/track buttons don't control foobar2000 though I haven't spent any time looking into it.

Very happy that the volume buttons can control the monitor output level in my Emu cards PatchMix software

Hope you are wearing a flame proof jacket, some people may become irritated by that statement (not me ) TBH I think this console war is going to be the most difficult yet, since you have early next gen VS brute power VS innovation


BTW XA04, you never got the leather one? Must be the comfort keyboard model then. Luckily for me my application/media keys work flawlessly with itunes and stuff, I never been able to get into Winamp, reguardless how how many times I've tried.
