I hate it too, but for other reasons.

I was coming out of Stockwell station, and walking home, when a group of 15-20 youths start throwing fireworks at people, and lighting rockets on the floor.

    Complete and utter c**ts.

    Fireworks should be licensed.

Ditto.. It's a complete pain in the arse. Why can't people set fire to their money in the local park or somewhere away from my house

Just think about it this way:

    BANG! £15! BOOM! £10! POW! £20!

They really annoy me ... I mean, I can understand fireworks on Dec 1st (Diwali) etc - but I can't see the point of 500years of burning one terrorist....

(Just in my own humble point of view of course!)

I just hate fireworks. They keep me up at night, they're annoying any time of the day, and I'm pretty sure that animals don't find the experience all that pleasant either.

I'm rapidly beginning to feel that fireworks should be for licensed professional events only. I like them but good firework shows cost £1000's and require a lot of planning including strict saftey controls, which means the average garden firework show is more of a nuisance + a danger than it is spectacular for surrounding neighbours.

Then theres the chav factor as well...

I hate them too, but that was because 2 were launched into my parents chipshop a few years back and luckingly never landed anywhere near the deep fat fryer (otherwise booommmmm!) and instead into a pile of rubbish bags which instanteously melted and created a mess....

The police took over an hour to get here due to an excuse of:
"We got reports the accused were seen elsewhere" of which they weren't there of course when the police got there!

    Woohoo now Assistant Manager!

I dont like fireworks, i never have. I dont feel safe walking about around the time of nov 5th, for the simple reason that i dont trust the intelligence of the stupid arses that live about here. Who's amazing idea was it to sell fireworks to the general public? it's like saying "here you go, take this machette and chop someone's head off, we dont mind!" instead it's an explosive and someones hand/eye/leg/etc.
