note section 4, although this probably pertains more to the actual broadcasting, even then the calls that are made are not "grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character" or "for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to another,"

The second one is a little more vague, although the caller did say that she would not continue the call if the recepiant did not want to, she said this repeatedly. The anxiety caused may be more applicable to the guy, but he said he understood the risks. Also an important distinction is that this is one call, not 5, 10, or hundreds
Well done, I'd forgotten about section 4 & broadcast programming I'll edit my post.

    Still trivialises nuisance calling though.

Listening to it now, i didnt catch this yesterday but i heard them mentioning it quite a bit between 5:30-6pm as i was driving to work, during that time they got back in contact with him and checked to see if he was ok off air, and Scott said he'd report back after the news at 6pm but i didnt get to hear this either as i had arrived at work. So if anyone wants an update skip forward to around 6pm

Just listened to the follow up call.

It was decent that they made sure the guy was ok, they continued to try to help and did it off air then checked to see if would be suitable and ok with the guy to broadcast.

If I was listening to this on the radio, I'd be in stitches for the woman.. On the guys side this is harsh but he found an answer to something he thought was going on anyway.. so its good/bad for him and BAD BAD BAD for her

bad kalma has played a part on that somewhere.. justice has been served!
