Yeah, true. I guess for the committed shotgunner the regular dousing would probably become tiresome. I have to admit that it does look like a pretty nifty gadget.

I think the last time I properly shotgunned a can was on my sixth form leaving day in 1997. Trouble is, I'd already downed a couple of pints in one, and the can I chose was a Super Strongbow. It wasn't really a surprise when I ended the evening by vomiting (lost a rather nice coat too).

Yeh but americans drink beer from 330ml cans NOT the full pint tins we have here. Also this thread reminds me of watching Sure Thing starring John Cusak, very 1980s. Ill stick with an Xbox360 and a pint of beer in a glass.

Can opener is the stuff you use to open tins of beans lol, technically this opens a can but is not considered one. Do you not know what shotgunning is? Oh the fun *basically shoves the can down your throat - thats why it's not a can opener*

Each to there own mind you, but in todays ever increasingly drunken society, the ability to drink fast and hold it is seen as a sign of how manly you are

Tongue in cheek mode aside - sometimes its a good idea for a few drinking games at parties, they are cracking ice-breakers

the majority of stuff i found over there was in bottles, more so than over here..

    but..

you do have a lot of weak beer.. 2-3%.. jeeez.. you have strong stuff too *i'm generalizing here* but i could walk into a bar, drink 'lite' beer all night, and come out stone sobre
