Well theres that code as a .RAW file - Nice waves ... just makes a bad hiss.
Not a sound, then.Originally Posted by Ramedge
I keep thinking that it's an XXencoded file (the + indicates the end of the file, or something, in that case) or perhaps a series of them. But XXencoded / BinHex / base64 all look incredibly similar.
THIS IS SO ANNOYING. ARGH.
its deffinetly not any kind of Hex thats for sure, It would be really obvious, not sure about Base64 or XXencodedOriginally Posted by Pennycook
i should know this but i cant remeber correctly - i think Hex is in base16 and uses numbers 1-9 and then A,B,C,D,E,F,G and # - I think.
No doubt directhex will come correct meh
Edit: - For some reason i opened a Torrent file in notepad(a few nights ago) and from what i remeber it looks like that, though i did turn it into a torrent file and it didnt work
Edit2: - would of thought a torrent file would contain details about the trackers etc.. so turning it into a torrent was a crap idea any way

I think you're right on Hex. But take a look at an example of BinHex:Originally Posted by Ramedge

Incredibly similar, non?
Hmmmm yes its similar in ways.Originally Posted by Pennycook
Mm, I thought so. Not having any luck getting WinZip to decode the files, mind.Originally Posted by Ramedge
The only issue being it lacks the non alphabetic characters, which are either filler, in which case you need to remove them, or an indication that it isnt the right algorithm
A very good point. *Scratches BinHex off list.*Originally Posted by herulach
So it looks like I'm left with xxencoding and base64. Unfortunately, I can't decode the first and base64 seems to give gibberish.
At least nobody else has had any luck.
I give up for now, but if anybody makes any advances, can you tell me please? Lol.
If anybody does ever find out the answer please post it! Im curious now even though I have no idea what the hell most of you are talking about.
