Anyone else see this on BBC2? Fantastically good spoof news...and for those that did, Ivanova is still God...."and our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of those affected..."

What was this about? i didnt see it but i like the idea
Basically, imagine flicking through a slightly mad version of all the local, US, digital news stations including all the business channels in rapid succession where every story sounds almost but not completely plausible, and all the presenters are exactly as annoying and inane as their real life counteparts... Extremely funny, and one of the US "anchors" is one Claudia Christian, late of Earth Alliance station Babylon 5...
I saw the first one, then forgot about the rest. I was very impressed with it because it was something different. Wondering if they'll be able to keep it fresh for the whole series though. Must remember to watch the next one.
i saw them speaking about this on News24, i really like to sound of it, but not seen any episodes. sure it'll be repeated so i'll try and catch it then
It gets the odd laugh from me, but the only bit that consistently cracks me up is Kevin Day doing the financial commentary bit. He is brilliant!
Who was the woman presenting the story on obesity? She was pretty hot....
Edit: check it out here, there's some streaming video:

It's pretty impressive to watch, they've got a lot of stuff spot on (news 24 to fox news to GMTV entertainment coverage all parodied well). Whilst I appreciate it's accuracy, it's not really got too many substantial jokes to keep it going for any amount of time.
I saw a few minutes of one of the episodes, but it didn't grab me enough to keep me from changing the channel. I might give it another go, tho, if there's some nuggets in there and there's nothing else on at the same time.
Only saw the tomato flu ep. One joke dragged out for ages by still subtly funny by adding just enough new material each time it recurred. Also reading the news ticker at the bottom of some bits - pure gold.
