Beautiful song, and the lyrics just kill me.

I challenge OiD, Nick, Rave and the other HEXUS members with long time partners to listen to it and think of the wife without getting a lump in the throat.

James Blunt gets a lot of stick, but his album is superb (that's a lot coming from me!

) and he deserves a lot of respect for the things he has done.

Mine is probably `Wouldn't It Be Nice` by the Beach Boys, Brian Wilson is a freaking genius

For me its 'Naked as we came' by Iron and Wine. The man is a genius and I have to try and stop myself crying on the bus when it comes on on my mp3 player.

Unfortunately the man had some serious mental issues and nearly killed himself with drink and drugs (his memoirs were removed from print due to some pretty nasty details). I don't agree with the past tense you use though, just listen to 'Walking Down The Path of Life' which was released earlier this year

I'm into hiphop (not 50 cent, but the more respectable melody based stuff) but I do enjoy his music, and I had to nick my mates iPod for a whole art lesson once so I could listen to his album for the first time

Good thing is, is that although he may not have the best voice in the world, his songs can be easily sang by us (good or not) which makes his songs far more marketable and ultimately enjoyable
