I am wanting to try and sell my PC over eBay.co.uk

Its a computer i want to sell, i want to get aleast £550 for the system.

I am alittle unsure weather to use eBay because of the cost if putting up.

As i understand it for putting my system up for £550 it will cost me £2.00 to list the item ? that right ?

Now i dont understand the Final Value Fees. If i get £550 for the system it says,

5.25% of the initial £29.99 (£1.57), plus 3.25% of the remaining closing value balance

So how much does eBay take from my final selling price of £550, i carnt work it out

I also want to set a Reserve price for £550, does this cost extra ?

5.25% of £29.99 = £1.57

3.25% of £520.01 = £16.90

Then £2 to list it.

If you set a reserve it costs 2% of the reserve price so at £550 it would be £11. However that is refunded if the item actually sells. If it doesn't you then owe ebay £11 for nothing!

Also paypal will rip you off too if you accept paypal paymens. I'd take 10% off the final price you sell something for to give the actual amount you will receive for it after fees etc.
