Ive just got over 50 emails from threads ive subscribbed to, 50!!
this never happens
has something changed?
is any one else getting this too?

I thought I was special and someone was sending me emails. Yes I too had a load. Maybe a server system reboot type thang? Seems to be all the posts from the last month or so only.

they apear to be commng in swams :\
iam guessing that the problem ealier with the forums was because of a server and this is just a result of the problem ealier.

all fine here though, just normal notification emails

I got 14 in my gmail inbox.

Go into user cp, then user options. Then change subscribed threads from weekly notification or whatever it is to none.

I started getting loads, decided it was becoming too much and came here to change my options. I turned off that Monthly subscription notification e-mail option and it stopped.

I don't remember ever turning it on in the first place though.

It seems the upgrade I did yesterday caused a fix to a problem we had, therefore everyone started getting emails.

To be honest, I have no idea how/why this happened.

i found it quite amusing first it said 27new emails - then 32 then 12 then i think another 10 so thats actually 81emails lol!!

you know what they say? You get no emails for a month then 81 come along at once

i didn't get any but the boards do seem a bit speedier and i've not had any DB errors all day... which is nice

You probably had it set to subscribe to threads automatically. I haven't received any.
