I dont think he is evil either but he is a hypocritical prat. e.g dont go around claiming you always take the side of victims and then ignore traci being mercilessly attacked. He should also show some humility, hey george you can be wrong sometimes, just bloody admit it!

He clearly got on the wrong side of the BB show, his "best bits" video was actually his worst bits.

Pete was so much worse than george but gets away with it. In fact george even took the flak for some of the things pete said and did.

I'm hoping the airhead chantelle will be out later...

Frankly, I can't say I'm too keen on any of the remaining contestants. I suppose if I had to choose, it'd be 'Maggot' or Preston, though I feel the former has been borderline throughout.

I think we can all agree Pete won't win though.

I'm probably not going to be popular by saying this but I think George Galloway is an okay guy. Sure, his appearance in BB made him look a bit of a pratt but he took on the might of the US authorities and won his argument decisively. The same US authorities then later claimed they had more evidence against him and he asked them to take him to court. They backed down.

There is an almighty witch-hunt against by the US government, New Labour and the Murdoch press. He had a charity in Iraq trying to help people when the West was imposing sanctions on the people of Iraq.

I don't think he's a bad person but he is being demonised, mostly unfairly IMO.

He has a charity which he has moved the accounts off shore after accusations of iregularities in his favour (thats the most polite way of putting it i can).

Just because he stood up well in a witch hunt dosen't make him a good man, it just makes him smarter/luckier.

you mean "HAD" instead of has.
I'll take the charity commissions findings over yours.

If the charity is based in jordan, well maybe thats because its chairman is jordanian.

But the Commission has confirmed today that it has opened a fresh inquiry into the appeal's sources of income. The move comes after inquiries by the US Senate and the UN into the fund, which reported that Mr Galloway's friend and associate Fawaz Zureikat had siphoned £252,000 from the UN's Oil for Food programme into the appeal.
The US has put on pressure to reopen investigations, They are trying to make life as difficult as they can for someone who publicly humliated them, even if the best link they can find is that *maybe* someone he knew violated iraq sanctions somehow...

The difference between tax avasion and tax avoidance is a few grand in lawyers fees.

I'm not talking about this because of the US system, i think its hypocritical for the current US goverment to go after small fry like this british person, given their intrests, but the fact remains in an interview on newsnight (i think it was newsnight, was paxman) he said how he was going to publicise the accounts, he has yet to do so, and until then they wern't all off shore banks.

any one hear the interview on the chris moyals show with galloway?
hes a total jerk. he reckons that he appeals to the younger generation. Because 18 - 25s have the lowest % for voting in general ellections

after hearing him on radio1 i just thought what a total pratt, (if you can find it on the radio 1 site the listen again then i would!) Hes a very agressive man and i dont think he is fit to be a mp let alone some one who says he appeals to the younger generation of voters.

I hope his carrear as an mp is well and truly over.
