    WTH is this? (paypal problem).

    Hi there,

a friend bought something on my ebay account which i did not know of, I asked the seller for a refund and he kindly accepted it.

Now, the money is back refunded into my account, but I get this "temporary hold" thing??

    What is it?

    Looks like this-

16 Feb. 2006 Transfer From Bank Account Completed Details £** GBP
21 Feb. 2006 Refund From ****** Completed Details £** GBP
21 Feb. 2006 Temporary Hold By PayPal Placed ... -£** GBP

how long has it been on temporary hold for..... working at a bank i know that somethings are placed on hold to ensure that the money clears from the sender before allowing you to move it on. Plus most banks are entitled to 3 business days to recall funds hence the hold period. But id double check with PayPal

You should of got an email explaining why they did it.

Happened to me once because a guy changed his delivery address, PayPal did it for security reasons.
