my 45 mins project presentation was the best 45 mins of my life - i put some real effort into my programming and my report, what made it better was i was the only one in a group of 7 who had finished it all on time, and was fully working. I stood there for 45 mins and boastedOriginally Posted by herulach

Ahh, 10,000 words on Friction Stir Welding*... I remember it well!
*following 9 months of physical testing of little bits of metal...
as long as your grammar is correct and you dont stick apostrophes in where they arent needed you'll do just fine
my friends have all finished their dissertations and presentations already, so glad i didnt have to do that this year!
Advise that you don't put apostrophes before the s of any other things that you pluralise, then! (e: f,b)Originally Posted by iMc

ooh i'm not envying you guys. i did a separate masters - and thus 2 dissertations! a total of over 32,000 words of report, 20,000 lines of code and a lifetime supply of redbull.. the wierdest thing is getting up the day after its been handed in and not knowing what to do with yerself.

My disso is on the effects of domestic violene on children ... even more fun! (depressing as hell actually )
In my original degree I did my dissertation on 'The representations of 3D surfaces using B-splines'; wrote a 3D program to model objects using NURB surfaces. Did all the 3d programming myself matrices translation rotation projection. Lots of fun
Right now Im doing a dissertation titled 'Computation Fluid Dynamic analysis of forward swept wings' and Im finding out how backwards some of these commercial CFD packages really are.
