I've just used Parcels2go, whilst the postage strike was on...
They basically played basketball with my package, a PC.
I was just wondering if anyone has made a successful claim for compensation against them?
My claim is currently pending.....

They have done the same with me - and the claims take ages. If I do not suceed I will be taking full legal action. It was packaged properly and the system was fine when they picked it up.
I received a christmas card from Parcel2go the other day..... bit early innit

My understanding of Parcel2Go's business model (and hence the reason to slow claims) is that they act as a logistics agent.
They themselves don't actually own any vans / cars / bikes, they just use other couriers. So when you claim from them, they have to take it up with the compan(ies) in question...
I personally have never had any problem with them
Iv'e used them twice and had a problem with them once.
But that's only luck I reckon.
I still haven't heard one word from them about my claim or a reply to my e-mails...
Has anyone claimed successfully from Parcels2go, or even been told to go hang....
They said they are paying out but have taken weeks to sort anything
I had a case sent to me via parcel2go but the actual delivery agent was Omega Securicor. The case must have had something thing really heavy on it because it they managed to bend it out of shape, and pop all the fans centres out of their plastic surround . Unfortunately my house mate signed for it, and so they did not pay anything, grr! I have heard more than enough bad reports about parcel2go to make me steer clear of them forever.

Ben
Parcels2go £20 service and special delivery are about the same cost for sending a PC.
The big difference is if you can't get to a post office during the week, the fact that Parcels2go will collect from the office is a major factor.
I called Parcels2freaks and the employee said that complaints dept was in another office and only dealt with by e-mail.
But then she did check in 30 seconds that they had recieved my fax.
So not helpful really.
Who knows maybe it's good cop, bad cop!
