tbh, the heating has never, ever worked in our flat. ever. lived here 2.5 years now, gets a bit nippy in the winter, but not too bad, and theres no heating bill to get thru
Using my Dell 24" now, but its hardly pushing any heat out.

I have whats referred to by friends and family as "the voodoo room".
In the winter its freezing, and in the summer the heat gets unbearable (although the computers probably contribute to that a lot).

I havnt quite figured this one out, but as our shower is electricity heated, so im trying to hatch a plan involving it and the radiator.

You should create an "agent-cave" incorporating your duvet, your monitor and as many pieces of heat producing hardware as possible, then sit back and enjoy the warmth.

Team up with the rest of your family and gaffertape your dad to the wall and poke him repeatedly with a big stick until he agrees to your requests.

Steal the toaster! Stealing bread is optional, but with some cheese and Tabasco might help

Maybe have a nice hot bath!? Asuming you have hot water?

Have to say, my logitech subwoofer makes a nice amount of heat. Works well as a foot warmer when its working hard

Drink a load of booze until you can't feel the cold. Or move down south, it's relatively nippy here ATM but still 65F in my kitchen- I turned the heating off for the summer last week.

PVC, i can catagorically say that a PVC catsuit will keep you extremely warm. Especially if you go running in it *nods*

Ade... smear yourself with the juice of 10,000 chillies.

If that doesn't make you warm you could always bathe in wintergreen

What boiler is it? Asking as a former customer services rep for a boiler company, who might at the very least know what's wrong with it, and maybe, just maybe, an easy fix.

    Electric blankets are fairly inexpensive.

Find a wa to humidify your room. Howard's buckets of hot water idea is pretty good.
