The death of the double decker

So, this lunchtime i purchased my traditional double decker to go with my sandwich, when i picked it up i thought it felt a bit funny, probably just a bit squashed.

Only to bite into it to find that theyve been ruined, the shape has been changed, but more importantly the ratio of nougat to crunchy bit has been altered! Abomination! Instead of a crunchy chewy mouthful of delight they are no no more than horrible gooey things. Whoever decided they should be changd needs to be strung up.

I've just been and bought a normal one from the corner shop - they still seem the same so perhaps they are old stock - it's 60g, and 36% nougat - what are the new ones?

you'll have to post your pics, as i love 'em (altho i always forget i leave them in the fridge, and then it hurts!), just so i can see what they have changed into!

I didnt think to check the nougat content till after id thrown the wrapper away in disgust. But ill be sure to check later when i go to morrisons.

whats the deal with chocolate bars getting smaller - i purchased some Ice Cream Snickers from tesco yesterday for 97p for 4, good deal i thought, i opened the box and was horrified, its like ice cream snickers for children. They have lost a good third of the size

After reading the OP's headline I was all for getting on my high horse and having a right go at that little trotskyite ****** Livingstone for getting rid of the capitals perfectly good busses, however, upon reading further, i felt it was my duty to mount my double decker bus! This fills me with even more indignation! mainly towards whomever makes these thingamabobs nowadays. How dare you experiment with a tried and tested and most loved perfect recipe.
