erkkk i've done that before... but i personally think its quite possible to text and drive... not advised but its possible without distraction. I can text without looking at my phone so all my attention is on the road. All it takes is a quick glance to check its all correct and then send it

I used to do it with my old phone because I was able to do it without looking at the phone, I am not used to my new one tho and I havnt done it for ages anyway, any1 remember the story about the truck driver who was texting and ran over a cyclist at washington services...?

also you should all be aware that on 1st december driving whilst holding a handset will be illegal, full stop. £1000 fine.. ouch.

Van drivers must cause enough crashes, they drive like total maniacs, and old people are totally inept. Ever hear the story of the old woman who wasnt paying attention at the wheel, suddenly say a red light stamped on the accelerator and mowed down 3 people, happened not far from where i live. She was like 80 years old.

I hired a transit in october and it was a piece of cake to drive. I've driven them before and never noticed a problem. They have those curved mirrors on them dont they? All the ones I've driven have and this fills in the blind spot.

True. The best thing I've found to do is to indicate, give it 5-10 seconds and then go!
