Niece and nephew...playing in the garden. Niece falls on grass (she's two), nephew shouts "pile on" (he's 7). Niece accidentally () kicks nephew in head. He gets into a paddy and a stone falls out of his pocket. My niece then picks that up and claims it for her own. Now my nephew won't speak to her and has been in apaddy for the last hour.

Next...niece walks up to him "What's up johnny?", nephew "You're not sleeping mine tonight", niece, jumping up and down shouts "Yes I am, yes I am, yes I am.." - now they're both in tears.

Sounds familiar to my two kids -10 and 7 they just love to fight!!! Strange as it is- it helps bring them closer. My wife was a single child and cannot understand when they fight , but me , my 2 brothers and 1 sister always fought and we are fine, well so my shrink says, now that i have stoppes setting fire to the curtains every week.

Reminds me of when I first met my Godson when he was less than an hour old. "Well he's already more mature than you" says his mum.

Now he's almost 7 and he scares the bejeezus out of me! Which is just like the old Mafia saying of "I'd rather be feared than loved"

Oh, that is cute I wish you could turn back time a bit, everything was much easier back then. You could laugh for nothing, although I think I still do that and you didn't have to worry about having nothing to do, since you mostly kept yourself busy with whatever you could find that was amusing. I feel old when I say that things were better when you were a kid...and I'm just 18 *haha*
