now i've seen it, i think it's a great little touch. you could even make that a hidden link to something...no idea what though.

nope.....no deeper meaning.....just needed a tiny hit of colour.
It's that kinda thing that allows you to change things in the future.
An album cover with a Blue colour next, then maybe a special edition DVD with a gold colour.
Just looking ahead and allowing a scaleable marketing tool that also looks subtle and classy.

A couple of suggestions...
1. What's with the cross pattée (presumably the Iron Cross)? It's rather incongruous next to the gambling paraphenalia.
2. I'd go with 3 cards or 5 cards instead of 4. 3 conjures up images of brag and 5 implies poker, 4 implies whist or bridge neither of which is as 'cool'. I rather like the idea of 5 aces for a band called Hustler
3. The font is very Germanic which I guess is traditional for a rock band but the name lends itself more to a 20s America look. I'm not suggesting an art deco type font but something a little more in keeping with the name might be a better choice.
Other than that it's still better than anything I could do
Gets my vote! Love the combination of pool ball, cards and dice, and zaks touch of colour is a nice addition

Maybe nitpicking but might as well say it and you can change or not
1) the edge of the 8 card is thinner than the other two (now that i look at it the 9 and the 6 dont have the same thickness edge either)
2) The A on the ace needs moving 1 or 2 px away from the edge of the card to make it the same as the others and maybe the 8 and 9 need moving down 1px from the top of the card.
3) The white border around the cueball is inconsistant as tho you've cut it out messily.
As i said im being pedantic (right word?) so completley ignore me if you want, im a perfectionist
