    Halle Berry

Is it just me or is she out of her head, she's always going on about being a woman, and being black and using these as reasons and excuses for doing things.
The was her oscar speech a few years back when she started crying n giving it the I'm black and oppressed crap, and after yesterdays Moyles interview it makes me think she snot quite firing on all 6 cylinders..

After her appearance on Moyles's show, the actress, who plays mutant Storm, told a press conference at the Dorchester Hotel: "Being a woman and a person of colour, I often feel left outside.

"Because of my gender, nationality and colour of skin, I can relate to my character in X-Men.

She is probably one of the most racist people ever IMO.

I cant stand her and people like her. She needs to get over herself. Why does she make things complicated. Shes always trying to find something thats just not there.

People who keep going on about there race are actually helping to keep racism alive IMO. Its time people just looked at someone, and saw a person, not a colour.

As long as people keep distancing themselves from the whole of society with there black, white, asian only awards ceromonies / schools / groups, racism will never end.

    My two pence

Agreed, the people like her are distancing themselves by not letting it drop and always bringing it up, yes Halle, we know your black, yes we know your a woman, we really dont care if people were as sexist and as racist as you seem to think they are where would you really be?

It's like the MOBO awards... Imagine the outcry if we had a MOWO awards?

tbh, I don't really give a monkey's about the origin of music... If I like it, I like it, if I don't it's 'cos I just plain don't and has got sod all to do whether it's black, african, albanian or bloody upper voltan for all I care.

And while we're on, how about job applications that ask your ethnic background? Do what? Yes, I know you have an equal opportunities policy but employing someone BECAUSE they're from a 'minority group' is as bad as attending a BNP rally.

It's condescending and discrimanatory and unfair.

My age, colour and ethnic background should have no bearing on whether I can do a job or not.

    LOL

    You guys made me laugh!!

Yeah she's such a minority - joining the millions of black Americans out there *sighs*

I just can't stand this political correctness malarky. REALLY grates on my tits

When I was at Uni big companies like PWC or Goldman Saachs used to have evenings for Women from Ethnic Minorities. Most of my friends who went to them were Asian....in fact a good proportion of my friends at Uni were Asian. Yet they get more of an oppertunity than I do?? Doesn't make sense in all honestly.

EDIT: she IS fit tho Damn I'ma sexist

Aye, it must be a tough old life.. being black and female has oh so obviously held her back!

Sure, if you take her comments and transplant them back to, ooh, say the 60s, then yeah, she would have a hard time... but now? Nah, I don't buy it one little bit...

And for the record, nope, I wouldn't be interested if she rolled up naked, oiled and ready to rumble... She's short a few too many sandwiches in her picnic basket to turn into anything other than a bunny boiler... But then, no doubt she'd claim that's all they had to eat when she was growing up... along with rice and peas...

Yeah, I'm sure all you guys are right....I mean, it must be so easy for you to imagine hardships she may (and in the interest of a balanced view, may not) have gone through as a black woman, which might have affected her sufficiently to form a lasting impression on her life and work....

Lets say she went through some hardship....

Does she have to take it out on us? Is it our fault? Does she have to accuse people of being racist over every little thing? I must remember not to use the word black next time I'm with her(I wish could be with her ) because she will be offended.

What about my hardships? Does she care that I have been mugged several times by black people? I however don’t take it out on black people, and I dont accuse them of being racist.

I know that I just happened to be walking in a predominately black area, and just happened to be mugged there. it could of happened to anyone, anywhere. It could have happened to a black person walking in a predominately white area.

It doesnt mean everytime I see a black person that I am going to think they are going to mug me, or that they are a racist.

She really needs to get over it, and not only her, other people too.
