    Creative iTrigue3400 (REPAIR?)

Hi, looking for a bit of advise.
    - Last night i managed to knock one of my mate speakers onto floor in a ham-fisted attempt to pick up a ps2 controller. And the base snapped off!

Anyway, the speakers where a present and still are pritty new, which obvously makes me feel pritty dam bad about the whole thing!

The screw attaching the stand though the base pulled though, breaking the stupid little thing, so im now left trying to get it fixed!
    - Is there anyway i can get replacment base, or send the speaker off to be repaired?
    - I doubt it covered by the warrenty, but im not overly fussed about paying, as long as it gets fixed for him.
    - Otherwise im left with trying to fix it by cuting back the rubber bottom off the base and adding a washer around the hole.

    Man im such a idiot!
    - The stupid thing is i knocked my own speakers off that many times ive now resorted to bluetacking them down so i cant! (fortuntley mine seem to about to handle multiple falls with only surface damge)

Glueing it was mentioned, how ever im not overly sure how successfull that would be, even with a decent CA glue, im not sure i would nessarlly hold. And im stuggling to think of any other suitable adheasive.
    - The contact area between the leg and the base is little more than 1cm^2 as you can see from this photo
