Sounds like M$ is trying to reinvent BitTorrent if you ask me.

Well BT isn't really that clever.

MS have bought research taking this one step further. The idea of parity, each segment has parity put in it. This way you aren't so restricted, you've got more fault tollerant design. In short, its REALLY good idea. But P2P is stupid for distrabuting stuff like this anyway.

What about peoples thoughts as to how the software feals? Word, I love the multipule windows on same document, bibologrophy wizards and smart tags are finally useful. But them floaty text formatting bars i don't like, i prefer the idea of using styles (which is more prevelent in 2007)..... just my first impressions

We're not the only ones having issues Time...I think the authentication servers are probably getting hammered at the moment, but it doesn't fill me with confidence when I can't activate the damn thing...as someone who buys legit software 100% of the time, this kind of activation really ticks me off...give it a while...maybe late tonight/early tomorrow morning and you might have a bit more success.

I've tried several times after midnight, seems the authentication servers have been down for maintenance, but they're finally back up and running again.
Anybody that needs to...now's a good time to activate .
