    New addition to the family

    Pure bred fell pony born at 2am on Friday morning and piccie taken the following afternoon. Lovely little thing - missus was more nervous about the foal being born than when she had the kids. Took a couple of hundred pics but liked this the best - the mum keeps on moving round, protecting the foal from me and my camera.

    yeah, smart looking horses those, and i also know nothing about them...the baby one is huge, has it grown a lot since friday? no wonder the mrs was worried!

    Molly (the mum) is only 12 hh, so she's not that big but the foals legs are incredibly long. Considering she was only about 36 hours old when the photo was taken its hard to believe Amber actually fitted inside Molly.

    Absolutely gorgeous! New born foals are so funny, they are all legs! Its hilarious to watch them running around when they have a mad half hour.

    In my 'horsey' days many moons ago we had 2 pure bred Welsh Section As born at our farm.

    I love horses - they are such beautiful creatures. And yours look lovely!
