I did the opposite.
Went out in the garden after work, chilled and then sat till about 12.30 out there.
I got up this morning and I've been bitten by god-knows-what and have quite a lump on my head now.
There's only one thing worse than sun burn and that's prickly heat, I got it one year all down my back after getting burnt, it was 3 days of hell!!

I forgot about the fridge bit, when i was last on holiday (the caribbean) we kept our after sun in the fridge, it is soooo relieveing straight out the fridge like that.yeah I vote for the banana boat aloe vera . . . stuff saved me in barcelona last year . . . the girls kept it in the fridge as well so we ended up lathering ourselves in it anyway!
had to ring em up yesterday to find out what it was and bought meself a bottle
Cold shower to take some of the heat out (and hot ones hurt anyway) then lather on the aftersun.
I burn way to easily, so i'm an expert!

from driving the bloody lorry all day
That's a new one! Must be really annoying!
Oh yeah and Aloe all the way here too, the fridge idea sounds good!
