I did a post about a week ago with "UKTV" in the title. Search for that, then you'll find how to get the TV listings to work.Originally Posted by Raz316
That thread shows how to get everything BUT BBC 1 + 2 working - to get them to work, just edit the confit file, and you see that BBC 1 is called something like "BBC 1 South" or something. Simply change that to "BBC 1". Do the same for BBC 2 and it should work.

try this theme . just the default one but jazzed up abit. tidy up your desktop and find a unique wallpaper. maybe if you have sum lights in your case, then match your wallpaper with your colour scemeOriginally Posted by ajbrun
That's such bs. I use that theme, it's available on the microsoft website, it's not a leak at all. It was designed for media centre and can be happily used across many different microsoft OS's.Originally Posted by Makaveli
There was a big hoo-haa over it last year though. I'm not sure on the specifics but it was never officially released as a theme and soom leet blokes ended up making it into a theme that could be used on normal XP and MS didn't like it.
Of course that story could be made up but I know that all mention of the theme and how to get it was banned from Neowin.net was MS wasn't happy about something.
i <3 dual monitors tbh
ultramon is a bit cack like but it does le job
well sum1 posted it on kustom forums so dont blame me and thats were i got it.Originally Posted by KeZZeR
Another problem I'm having is this. When I download a style os something, and double click the exe file, it sometimes says "we have wrapped our own advertsing software in with the files for this product. By installing this, you'll be installing our files too". Or something to that effect. Basically, I see that as adware. I don't like adware, therefore I don't install. If someone could direct me to a site that does NOT does this, I'd be most chuffed.
Thanks
Heres my XP setup

this method, thanks to hex, looks fairly simple that even I could do it!
p.s. littletommyboy - what are those themes called?

you can find the newer patch here, i had a few problems with it, but when you install it make sure you wait for it to give you a dialogue box at the end and it works fine. then just click on the msstyles file and it'll load and you can change them in the appearences tab under properties.

theres the tread where a few guys helped me with it a couple of months ago.
good luck
edit: the themes above are the microsoft media centre theme and the safari theme, tho a good alternative is winpanther cos then you get a flag not an apple as a start button and you can have a compact start menu.
is that media centre one available at M$'s website...for free?
