Evil I sware you don't need all those shortcuts.... and the start bar...... and do I see NORTON

Here's an update of mine (just to say I love the modern pinball FF theme). Spent all yesterday (trying to sort out my downloads & music drive) anti-malware/ing (Spybot, adaware, M$ beta all picked up new stuff), regcleaning, uninstalling stuff, defragging. Sorting files.

I swear I don't either.... banished them! Especially Norton which has been sent to the dark depths of a folder called "Tosh Preinstalled".

Here we go...update with serious changes.

Decided to play around a lot with some Stardock apps - voila! I wanted my dock at the bottom of the screen, but was lost as to where the taskbar should be displaced to. Decided I liked the side as it gives you a vertical list of your running programs. Me Likey!

EDIT: Was starting to get confuzzled so put taskbar back at the bottom and the dock at the top.

been looking at the themes over @ deviant and wincustomize... and err... I don't seem to like a single one. I tried a few of the "mac" looking ones... but I tire of them easily.

I don't like the start buttons on most, and I don't like the mimimise / maximise / etc buttons...

y'all know what I mean? ... or not?

I know what you mean, hence why I have windows default desktop. I can never find anything I like - not even a wallpaper .

OK I'll admit it - I've been bored...

Using Vista Inspirat Shell and The Konfabulator for some of the widgets you can see.

The Clock (bottom right) is a cool little barcode clock widget. The CPU monitor (bottom left) is real-time and the little thing in the middle is a nice little itunes remote I found too

Also cleaned up some of the icons I made (CPU-Z, Firefox, Xfire, Fireworks, F@H, F@H Stats etc)...they look noice now

    Check my project <<| Black3D |>>

I never usually bother with complex skinning before, since its quite a bit of effort, and I reinstall Windows XP once every while, so all I have is a simple theme and wallpaper. I used to do it before, but immense effort factor tbh

    Picture 75% of original, res @ 1680x1050
