    Which flowers for a 'friend'?

Basically, i remeber been told once, before i filled that part of my mind with triva about 'peep show' that there was a certain colour rose or tulip or something that ment friendship.

Basically which colour is it, a friends derserves some congrats and i dont think ne ones sent her flowers in 6 months (which is too long to go).

my googles bring up useless stuff like:

clearly you should send orange (asiatic) lilies anyway, since they're the best flowers ever.

As far as I am aware... yellow flowers represent friendship and red flowers represent romance... well at least that was the colour coding last time I checked

    Sunflowers are always a winner.

Not soppy and always makes people smile.

    usually quite cheap too

Yellow is good. Good chance for some interesting flowers too - tulips are rather dull, fresias and lillies are far more interesting and nice smelling

Yep - giant sunflowers - basically they just look cheery and dont make people think that you are hitting on then maybe couple that with some other non-descript stuff, with the sunflowers still being the main focus and you have a decent bouquet that is fleshed oout a bit
