    Wink Dream Aquarium Screensaver

I've been a long time visitor to the great hexus.net site but never contributed on the forum until today. Wanted one of my first post to have say something interesting so I've searched the forum and found no mention of my most fave screensaver.

    Dream Aquarium

The SS is both beautiful and impressive. Its regularly updated with new features and the developer takes on board all comments and suggestions. Check out the demo, hope you enjoy it. (I am in no way affiliated with the developer, just love these artificial life screen savers)

Theres tons of amazing screensavers out there, but 99.9% of them are demos and have big screens which come up saying "BUY ME NOW LOLZORDS"

Wish there were some decent ones! Blank screen ftw.

I know of a couple, most aren't as great as they claim to be. Sorry you don't like it. Yes its a demo but even in demo mode you get a couple varieties of fish and a crab, the buy me box only pops up every now and again. I use the demo on my spare work pc, keeps the stress low.

The OpenGL range were good when 3D cards were new and everyone was competing to make the best free screensaver, but it's gone downhill since. I wouldn't waste my time with a demo, and why would I pay for something that comes on when I'm not there?!

I have to admit, Winamp still rules when it comes to visualisations, but thats about it.

For a good standalone visualisation program, check out R4.

directhex, cheers for the link. Some nice ones there
