I say don't get a Japanese/Chinese tat they may look funky to you but they
are badly drawn and look terrible to people who are familiar with kaniji etc.
Anyone got any really terrible looking tats? This one is the worst I have ever
seen. Especially as the person was really please with it. I think it looks like
bulbasaur from pokemon.

education is your friend
interestingly the tattoo he has, has the same 'rotation' and is at the same angle
as the Nazi swastika. I'm not saying he is a nazi.
I saw it and i thought it looked like the Nazi swastika, but a different colour...what does yours signify? I remember doing something about swastikas at school, but i can honestly say that ive never seen any anywhere, apart from ones asscociated with nazi's.
The symbol can be found in the Buddhist religion and pre-dates the Nazi's by thousands of years. The Nazi took it from Tibet and used it as there emblem, calling it a swastika.

Theo, it is a swastika and therefore it obviously will be taken to be the nazi
swastika by many people. Look at the wikipedia out of all the examples the
orientation of yours matches most with the nazi one in that picture.
'Thats like saying an upside down car is an areoplane'
Who are you trying to kid. You knew fully well when getting that tattoo
that many people would see it as the nazi symbol first and foremost.
I wouldn't say it'll obviously be taken as a nazi symbol at all, anyone thats been through secondary school knows from History lessons that the Nazi's simply stole the symbol, and that its origins have nothing to do with them.
If many people see it as a Nazi symbol as opposed to what it really is all that proves is many people don't pay a great deal of attention.
