    They are a bit frustrating at first because out of the box, they dont work properly (quirky is the word i think), a few taps later and a lot of swearing, they are fantastic. Its just a case of getting used to everything, but most things that you dont like, there is a tap for it

    I'm happy with that - Sky+ didn't work properly for 12 months (whilst they tried to learn how to write software no doubt AND charged an extra tenner for it!) and still has it's 'moments'. I think i'm pretty up on which TAPS to go for - out of interest what would u recommend?

    Plus, I love to fiddle around with stuff anyway

    Plenty of fiddling to be had with a Toppy. The good thing is that because you can record 2 things and watch another, you can always find something to record and watch, so it makes sky/ntl pretty much useless.
